Monet style impressionist painting
Well you’re tempting us again Rod. As a new painter I’m not a fan of impressionism but I’m open to all forms of art and can’t wait to see what I learn from this next challenge. You are very generous to donthis for us all thank you Rod
Rod, your displayed paintings might be copies of the Impressionists, but they are beautiful in their own right. The Moore Method voice shining through. Looking forward to the Challenge.
I don’t mean to be irreverent or disrespectful to the Masters but I think I like some of your versions even better than the originals. This challenge looks like fun. My schedule is chock full for the next couple months, but I intend to squeeze in the time to join and enjoy this one.
I discovered Iso Rae, “Young Girl Etaples” and just loved it. I found the shortened name of Iso for Isobel was quite ironic considering what has been happening in Melbourne during lockdowns. I found the painting really spoke to me and gave me hope for the future. I was lucky enough to see the “Australian Impressionists” exhibition at NGV in between lockdowns.
Hi Rod,
I can’t wait. I’ve already attempted the Korovin painting of the Seine from your Masters Analysis and the Monet painting of the Cliffs at Etreat from your previous course, but I’m so looking forward to trying the others. Your renditions are fantastic!
Best regards,
Liz.
I’ve promised myself to join in this time! Love the impressionists much harder to paint in this style.
Looks awesome, I love them all! Beautiful work and I love your fundamentals program!
