Artist Bio: Barb Mathieson is a retired accountant and office manager who now has the time to follow her artistic passion.  She spends her time camping in summer on Vancouver Island and sunning in Arizona in winter.  Her extensive travels have provided many beautiful landscapes to capture on canvas.

Barb is a student artist enrolled in the Learn to Paint Academy.  Acrylic is her medium of choice after trying oils and watercolour.  Barb’s entry in the gallery is from the lesson called ‘ A Village in York’ done on 8 x 10 acrylic board. 

The Moore Method of painting has enabled Barb to analyze images from her travels and to put them to canvas.
