Join us in South France next May for 7 days of painting both in the studio and en Plein Air.

We will be staying in the beautiful Domaine du Haut Baran in the Bordeaux region of South France. Bordeaux is the main wine region in France with more than 20,000 wine producers.

This 7 day workshop will be based at the Domaine du Haut Baran with our hosts William & Rosalie. With its own art studio on the property this 7 day workshop will be partly conducted in the studio and on the grounds of the property, along with day trips to neighbouring regions to find some of the most breathtaking scenes of Southern France.

The venue has its own fabulous art studio equipped with Julian French Easels we can use. On the first morning we will complete an orientation of the art studio and we will talk about the Moore Method of Painting and how you can use it in your painting. This will include a brief demonstration of the 3 steps in the Moore Method.

As you can see from the pictures above our accommodation will be first class during the 7 day stay.

As you can see there is no end of breathtaking sites that we will paint together during the 7 day workshop.

Each day your instructor will do a demonstration painting, and then assist you with your painting to help you get the most out of the workshop.

Rest assured that Rod is an experienced workshop leader who knows how to get the most out of students. 

Rod will share with you his Moore Method of Painting which is a simple to follow process for developing a painting that has helped even absolute beginners to create paintings they and their families were delighted with. He will be sharing this methodology with you on the first day to set you up for success during the workshop.

What Is Included In Your 7 Day Workshop

Here is what is included in your 7 day workshop:

1. Instruction and critique with artist instructor Rod Moore.

2. 7 nights at Domaine du Haut Baran ( double occupancy ). ( single supp. Add $1,000 USD ).

3. Transportation from/to Toulouse Blagnac Airport which is the arrival/departure point. Airport transfers on arrival/departure day are based on everyone transferred at the same time. On arrival day we meet everyone at the airport in front of the Information Desk which is on the ground floor arrival level at 2:30pm for transfer to Haut Baran. On departure day everyone leaves Haut Baran at 6:00am, arriving Toulouse airport at 8:00am, in time to check in for flights departing at 10:00am.

4. Transportation to/from all painting sights/tour sights and restaurants ( evenings out at restaurants are organized for the best experience ! ).

5. Breakfast every morning ( Continental – croissants – coffee- ect ).

6. 3 dinners included at Haut Baran ( including wine ).

7. 2 lunches included.

8. Use our spacious art studio : including French Julian easels (full size), stools, tables.

9. All taxes and free WiFi !

This way you can be sure that there will be plenty of personal instruction and one on one time with Rod.

During his demonstrations Rod will be walking you through how to apply the Moore Method of Painting to the subjects being painted.

The cost to join us for the 7 Day Plein Air Painting workshop is just $3,490 USD based on a shared room (Add $1,000 USD single supplement if required).

A $500 USD deposit is required to reserve your place in the workshop with the balance due by 7th February 2020 in full.
